Young at Heart Fellowships
Young at Heart Fellowships meet the first Saturday of each month and start with a catered lunch followed by a program that includes live music, skits, small groups, and relevant teaching. Fellowships meet once a month on Saturdays at 11:00 am in the Loft. Advance registration is available through the Lakewood Bookstore. Check the weekly bulletin for details. We invite you to join us and meet new friends!
Monthly Bus Trips
Monthly Bus Trips are one–day excursions to sites of interest within 150 miles of Houston. Participants sign–up and receive details at the monthly fellowships. Trips are affordable and a great way to get better acquainted with other members. Whether it's visiting Moody Gardens in Galveston, enjoying the Kemah Boardwalk, shopping at Harwin, or visiting a local museum, the Young At Heart seniors have a great time being together!
Seminars and Workshops
Seminars and Workshops are planned annually in lieu of monthly fellowships. Qualified, professional speakers address topics that are relevant to seniors. Seminar topics have included Diet and Exercise, Heart Health, Building Healthy Relationships, Managing Stress, and Financial Tips for Seniors. Workshop topics are Basic Computer Skills, Flower Arranging, Gardening, and Photography.
